How to Add Vertical Tabs in WordPress

It’s all about seamless browsing experiences and instant response demands these days. Also, most of us actually have even shorter attention spans. Vertical tabs could be the ultimate game changer for you if you want to add some extra organization magic to your WordPress pages or posts.

These will let you pack many chunks of info into a teeny-tiny space, making it much easier for your viewers to browse your content. Maybe it’s time you started adding vertical tabs in your posts and pages. If you still don’t have any idea how to do that, allow me to help.

In this tutorial, we are going over everything about adding vertical tabs in WordPress. By the end of this, I’m sure you will be able to add some on your own. Let’s go straight right in!

How to Add Vertical Tabs in WordPress

There are some amazing plugins to add these. Today I’ll be using Ultimate Blocks to add vertical tabs in WordPress.

And the first thing you’ll need to do is install the plugin. For that, we need to go to the WordPress Dashboard. Then we will go to Plugins and then Add New. Now search for Ultimate Blocks, click on install now, and then activate it.

Now go to the post or page where you want to add your vertical tabs. Click on the (+) icon and type in tabbed content and select Tabbed Content block.

By default, the tabs will appear in horizontal order like this.

As we don’t really need that and trying to add vertical tabs now, we will head over to the right-hand side panel. Click on the Tab Layout option from the block settings and set the tab display to vertical. Now your tabs will look something like this.

Now all you need to do is add your content to the tabs. You can even add more blocks within the tabbed content block.

If you want, you can customize tab colors, tab styles, and many more things in the block settings and styles section.

That’s all; you’re good to go.

Conclusion

Well, now you know how to easily add vertical tabs to your WordPress posts and pages.

Go grab Ultimate Blocks and start upgrading your organizing game. Also on the plus side, it gives you full responsive controls, letting you present multiple tab layouts; a total win-win for you.

So go on and start adding vertical tabs in your WordPress posts and pages. I hope this helped.
