How To Add A Download Button In WordPress
To add a download button, you can either go for the default Button block on WordPress which gets the basic job done or, you can go for a more noticeable and advanced block.
If you are going for the first option, just go to the post or page where you want to add the button, click on the (+) icon, then search for Buttons and add that to the editor.
But I’ll suggest you get creative with your buttons and make a more noticeable button. And for that, you will need a plugin. I will be using the Ultimate Blocks plugin to show the whole process.
We will start by going to the WordPress Dashboard. Then go to Plugins and then Add New. Search for Ultimate Blocks, install, and then activate it.
Then go to the page or post where you will add the button. Type in /button(improved) or click on the (+) sign and then search for the Button (Improved) block, add that when found.
Once it’s added, enter the text ‘Download Now’ and add the download link.
Then we will go to the right-hand side panel. From there you can add a download icon and change the color of your button. You can also adjust the size and other things for further customization there.
That’s pretty much it. We are done adding a download button.
